Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta , was a politician and Mexican economist, member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), who served as deputy, senator, party president and head of the Social Development Secretariat of Mexico. Luis Donaldo Colosio arrived on March 23, 1994 in Tijuana, Baja California, the first place to visit would be the popular colony Lomas Taurinas , on a sloping esplanade where an improvised stand was placed on a truck. At the end of the event, Colosio came down from the pavilion and went to his van, surrounded by reduced personal security, among the entire crowd. Minutes later was when one of the assistants shot him in the head, to then receive another shot in the abdomen, these being the wounds that caused his death .
There have been many conspiracies and theories about the Mexican politician's murder, but a clear conclusion has never been reached.
Also, throughout the years there have been documentaries and a 2012 movie where this event is discussed in Mexican history, but more recently, and just 25 years after the death of Luis Donaldo Colosio , Netflix premiered a series of 8 episodes where the case extends a little more.
